Steve @Pathfinder PT

I've been providing unique and professional training services for over 15 years to a great variety of people, helping them make the changes that matter most to them. I believe that a trainer's most valuable assets are their knowledge, their teaching skill, and their empathy.

My emphasis is on providing effective and relevant training plans, as well as support and education. Whatever form your exercise takes, it should enrich your life with strength and energy!

​

My own training tends to revolve around improving my strength to weight ratio as my passions include sport climbing, boxing and obstacle course races: so being strong and lean is the name of the game! I'm inspired by people who display strength in their sport and kindness in their life.

​

I enjoy working with clients and seeing them reach their personal aspirations. So if you want to look better, run further, climb higher, lift bigger or "just" keep up with your kids, Pathfinder PT is here to help!

I have trained with Steve Sherwood for over 11 years.
My introduction to Steve was to assist in the repair of a broken foot.
Since then, with Steve’s guidance I have progressed from reluctant runner to completing 10k, half marathon, climbing, obstacle course events, pushing weights and boxing. Even at the age of 65 I am continuing to attempt different activities, with Steve providing motivation and activities to challenge me. Next challenge beginners rowing on the River Thames!
Steve’s training method is fun, positive, and he enables his clients to move beyond their expectations.
He listens to what each client wants, and ensures every session is a positive experience.

Training Options

At Pathfinder PT I can offer you a choice of two services:

Personal Training; encompassing bespoke 1-2-1 or group training

Boxing for Fitness; challenging and fun fitness sessions for all levels

My approach to training is centred around understanding and supporting your aspirations. For each of these products we will begin with a discussion of exactly what you want from your training time both with your PT and in your own time. I can offer you the guidance and the confidence to pursue and exceed your targets

You can find me at Grenfell Park in Maidenhead; or I can come visit you at home for your training sessions!

Personal Training

What's your destination?

I aim to support you in your journey and guide you to find a path that works for you: fitness training should be fun and feel great!

Our process:

  • We will discuss your previous history and your aspirations; what do you want from your training, and what's most important for you to change?

  • We decide on an initial training plan and get started!

  • We will check your progress and review your priorities periodically

​

What it costs:

  • For 1-2-1 training the cost will be £40 per hour

  • 1 hour free for each set of five sessions

  • For small group sessions please contact me to discuss the details and I will arrange a price for your group
